"The Longest 3 Minutes"

Longest 3 Minutes

The Longest 3 Minutes follows the fears, resentments and hopes felt by Roger and Tatum, a young couple facing a challenge: waiting for the timer to ring on the home pregnancy test!

We follow their roller coaster of emotions from the “battle of the sexes,” to anger to remorse, imagination, hope and love as they wait for the ring. But then what happens? Needless to say, this is the longest 3 minutes of their life!

The film was completed in October 2005 and continues to be shown at various film festivals. But more important, Roger and Tatum live on in our feature-length project, The Adventures of Roger and Tatum. Check out the dedicated web site, which will blossom as we complete the project in late 2009.

The Longest 3 Minutes begins and ends with irreverence while touching down in heartfelt sorrow and joy in the middle. It's the first Turnip film with a decidedly humorous overtone and we hope not the last. The Longest 3 Minutes was written by Darrell Parker and directed by Jim McQuaid. Total running time is an emotional 5:50.
